You’ll help steer the financial futures of our clients while working toward achieving your CFP certification through our comprehensive rotational pathway.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive comprehensive and hands-on exposure across three core business units including advisor and client support, retail sales, and advice.
- Develop skills focused on the six elements of the personal financial planning process to guide clients on the path to investment success.
- Gain robust mentorship and support from Vanguard CFP professionals and senior management while building leadership and network skills.
- Achieve your CFP certification requirement through the CFP Board Apprenticeship pathway within two years.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Completion of a CFP Board–registered undergraduate/graduate program, granting eligibility to sit for the CFP exam within 6 months of hire, required.
- Successful completion of the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam prior to the start date, required.
- Learning agility to successfully pass the Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent licenses) within the designated timeframe.
- Demonstrated leadership in academic, professional, or community settings.
- Strong commitment to helping and educating clients, aligned with Vanguard’s mission.
- Support of Vanguard’s values of integrity, focus, and stewardship.
- Strong investment orientation and a continuous learning mindset.
- Excellent written, verbal, and Client Relationship Management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred.
- Progress toward or completion of the CFP exam highly preferred.
- Industry internship experience preferred.
