Our Federal DoD Account Executive will have ownership of all elements of bookings growth in the Intel territory, including discovering and developing new opportunities, managing pipeline, executing account strategies, and managing customer expansion. The successful candidate will demonstrate a history of sales excellence through impressive pipeline growth, outbound prospecting, ruthless qualification, innovation, and consistent hard work. Please note that this position includes special security and privacy responsibilities and may be subject to various background checks as required by U.S. Federal Government standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
- Develop and manage sales pipeline to move a large number of strategic transactions through the sales process.
- Identify and close new opportunities for growth while working with Federal DoD Services and Agencies.
- Present Rubrik, Inc. solutions within complex data center design environments.
- Co-sell and strategize with partners, distributors, and VAR's to enable rapid growth.
- Provide Rubrik, Inc. management with feedback about the local federal market opportunity and the identification of new business opportunities and channel partnerships.
- Adhere to Responsibilities: Security and Privacy guidelines by following system-specific policies, protecting data and individual privacy, complying with contractual obligations, completing required training, reporting security issues promptly, and supporting vulnerability remediation activities.
- Acknowledge position risk designations which may require background checks and fingerprint-based criminal history investigations as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Experience Required: 5-10 years of Federal/DoD sales experience (DISA & 4th Estate preferred).
- Passion for selling with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Excellent ability to build and nurture successful relationships.
- Consistent track record of overachieving sales targets in a large geographic territory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a "get it done" attitude.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling enterprise infrastructure/software into data center environments is preferred.
- IT industry background preferable.
