Key Responsibilities

In the role of Logistic Supply Chain Driver and Route Sales Driver, you will be expected to adapt to changing situations – such as traffic delays and unexpected changes in delivery schedules – ensuring timely deliveries. You will also be responsible for selling and distributing products along designated routes while building and maintaining strong customer relationships to maximize sales and volume growth.

  • Increase revenue for designated accounts by selling products, arranging distribution channels, organizing displays, and executing promotional strategies.
  • Perform daily deliveries and sales to assigned accounts.
  • Ensure all accounts are stocked in accordance with CCBCHC guidelines.
  • Carry out Point of Sale advertising transportation, replacement, and maintenance procedures based on each account's specific requirements.
  • Record daily monitoring of product, cash, and asset information accurately.
  • Manage invoicing and collection processes with precision and accuracy.
  • Build rapport with account personnel by delivering outstanding customer service through consistent communication, prompt problem-solving, and effective follow-up.
  • Ensure CCBCHC products and tools are visually appealing at all assigned locations.
  • Maintain an organized back room and manage trade breakage for designated clients.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle and cargo safety checks in compliance with CCBCHC standards.
  • Uphold high quality assurance standards as set by CCBCHC across all accounts.
  • Promote a safe working environment to ensure occupational health.
  • Foster enduring and cooperative relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Monitor competitors’ promotional activities, sales figures, and merchandise.
  • Adhere to and enforce all regulations, policies, workflows, and processes.
  • Meet commitments in a timely manner to build trust with clients and colleagues.

Required Qualifications

  • Mastery in utilizing a hand truck with either two or four wheels.
  • Expertise in managing a wide array of heavy equipment vehicles, including industrial power trucks.
  • Potential to secure a Class A CDL within three months of starting work.
  • Capability to drive a tractor and trailer in accordance with CDL guidelines and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Ability to comply with DOT physical standards.
  • Flexibility to adapt in an ever-changing work environment.
  • Proficiency in grasping business concepts and identifying relevant problems.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to making key decisions in line with established company procedures.
  • Ability to make prompt decisions with keen judgment and logical thinking.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire team members while fostering a receptive culture for feedback.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize effectively and ensure reliability.
  • Commitment to elevating operational quality across all areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure a hazard-free work environment by following proper procedures for the disposal, handling, transportation, and storage of materials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Having a high school diploma or GED is highly desirable.
  • General work experience ranging from 1-3 years is preferred.
  • Applicants with one year or more experience in commercial driving are preferred.
  • A background in grocery store or consumer products is considered a plus.
  • Previous experience in assisting customers will be considered an asset.
