Job Description

Position Overview

Position Title: Financial Analyst II (P2). As part of the Commercial Strategy team, you will analyze the company’s strategic positioning and financial performance with a focus on sales activities, capital investments, and pricing, contributing to projects that shape the future of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain pricing analytics and recommend pricing actions that optimize both revenue and value capture.
  • Implement, track, and analyze sales enablement platforms to reduce friction in the sales cycle and promote value-generating sales.
  • Develop financial models to evaluate proposed capital investments and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze demand for Crown Castle’s services and assess competitive positioning in the marketplace.
  • Synthesize financial and non-financial data into strategic insights and create reporting tools for real-time analytics.
  • Prepare quantitative reports for management, functional teams, the board of directors, shareholders, and others as appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to drive achievement of overall company goals.

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Finance, Business, Statistics, MIS, CS, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related position.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis and interpretation.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong data storytelling skills and high business acumen to translate analysis into actionable insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Experience with Alteryx and Power BI.

Compensation

The salary range offered for this position is $66,600 - $91,600 annually. A candidate’s offer is determined by various factors including depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the overall package may also include incentive compensation opportunities such as a discretionary annual cash bonus, commissions, and equity incentives.
