Position Overview

TheMarketing Intern (Digital Experience & PR/Communications)role at JLR, located in Mahwah, NJ, is an exciting opportunity to work within a global, people-first company. As an intern, you will collaborate with our Customer Experience and Parts/Logistics Departments to help shape digital channels, support public relations initiatives, and drive engagement across our premier digital platforms. The program is open to students at the Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree or to those pursuing a Graduate Program. Internship dates are from June 10, 2024 to May 23, 2025, with an expected commitment of 25-29 hours per week under a hybrid schedule, offering aPaid internship - $18/hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Digital Experience team in optimizing digital channels to achieve brand and sales goals.
  • Assist in the daily operations of JaguarUSA.com and LandRoverUSA.com for brands including Jaguar, Range Rover, Defender, and Discovery.
  • Analyze online user behavior, identify improvement areas, and implement effective solutions.
  • Create and conduct A/B tests to gather insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as user experience, conversion rates, and engagement metrics, providing actionable recommendations for optimization.
  • Assist in website maintenance through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize tools like Adobe Experience Manager, Decibel, Tableau, and Google Analytics to enhance digital experiences.
  • Provide support to the Public Relations and Corporate Communications teams.
  • Support social media activities including project and asset planning, and content review for both paid and organic channels.
  • Collaborate on marketing communications projects such as video edits, paid media partnerships, and brand asset creation.
  • Assist the PR department with tasks including updating tracking documents, reviewing press releases, event planning, and managing budgets.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (Junior or Senior level) or graduate studies with a concentration relevant to the internship.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and a high level of professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
