Position Overview

Northrop Grumman, a leader in revolutionary aerospace and defense systems, is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to join its Mission Systems Quality & Mission Assurance organization in Buffalo, NY. Required Qualifications

  • Must be a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and enrolled full-time in Fall 2026.
  • Majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Optical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a closely related discipline.
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026.
  • Able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
  • Previous internship/co-op or work experience, with demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Compensation: Bachelors: $23.50 - $29.75; Masters: $33.75 - $36.50
