Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electronic control systems throughout the city, including traffic signals, street lights, and water treatment systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic control systems, utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Regularly inspect and test electronic control systems to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Install and configure new electronic control systems in various city facilities, following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Collaborate with other city departments and outside contractors to coordinate maintenance and repairs of electronic control systems.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations performed on electronic control systems, including documenting any changes or updates made.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in electronic control technology and make recommendations for system upgrades or replacements.
- Provide training and support to other city employees on the operation and maintenance of electronic control systems.
- Adhere to all safety standards and protocols when working with electronic control systems.
