Medical Assistant (CMA) - Certified

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the Certified team at a respected healthcare organization located in Golden Valley, MN.
This is a direct placement opportunity (travelers will not be considered) and the selected candidate will be hired directly by our client.

Compensation: $22.23 - $27.37 hourly | Shift: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM M-F/80 Hours in a 2 Week Pay Period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer flow throughout the clinic
  • Assist providers in the management and treatment of customers from infants to geriatrics
  • Perform standard rooming processes
  • Administer immunizations, injections, and other medications as directed by the provider
  • Perform laboratory specimen collection as needed
  • Provide telephone support and facilitate communication between customers and providers
  • Assist with prescription refills and perform x-ray duties (if certified)
  • Perform phlebotomy duties and clinic laboratory tests
  • Provide front desk/check-in support, order and stock supplies
  • Assist with prior authorizations and communicate with healthcare team regarding progress or concerns
  • Perform clinical and clerical tasks to support clinic operations
  • Maintain current BLS certification

Required Qualifications

  • Active Medical Assistant (CMA) license in good standing (state-specific)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
