WBRC Inc. is seeking a Healthcare Architect with AHCA experience to help expand and guide our established Florida practice. What You’ll Do

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will:

• Lead the design and delivery of acute care and outpatient healthcare projects in Florida.
• Guide clients through the AHCA review process with expertise and confidence.
• Help cultivate and expand WBRC’s healthcare practice in the state, supported by a dedicated team of marketing, business development, and technical professionals across our three locations.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.
• Have opportunities to contribute to a wide range of healthcare work across the firm, while remaining focused on the Florida market.

What We’re Looking For

We are open to a range of experience levels and leadership styles. You may be:

• A senior architect with 20+ years of healthcare project leadership and an interest in market strategy.
• A mid-career professional with a strong portfolio and principal-track aspirations.
• A rising healthcare leader with 7+ years of experience, ready to take on new challenges and grow with our firm.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch required).
• Architectural Licensure required.
• At least 7 years of experience in healthcare architecture, with a focus on Florida projects.
• Proven knowledge of AHCA compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of codes, programming, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• A strong communicator who earns trust and builds lasting relationships.
• A team-oriented, low-ego leader with a passion for mentoring.
• Possess professional drive and still have fun while you work.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in developing new client relationships.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience in senior living or related healthcare sectors.
• Familiarity with integrated architecture and engineering project delivery.
• Revit and CAD Fluency.
