Position Overview

At Smith+Nephew, Life Unlimited, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. As an Associate Sales Representative for Sports Medicine in Dallas, TX, you serve as a product consultant specializing in soft tissue injury repair and degenerative conditions affecting the shoulder, knee, hip, and small joints. You will work with hospital accounts in an assigned territory, collaborating with surgical teams and sales representatives to deliver technical support and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing clinical case coverage in the operating room.
  • Secure inventory and complete logistical requirements associated with surgical cases.
  • Observe and consult the surgical team on Smith+Nephew instrumentation and implants.
  • Collaborate with Sales Reps and key healthcare professionals to develop territory business plans and meet quota.
  • Support the credentialing process by complying with healthcare facility requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of selling or converting business at the surgeon or hospital level.
  • Experience in leading or mentoring team members and new sales representatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the medical device industry.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products.
