Job Description

Position Overview

As an Industrial Automation Specialist, you will play a vital role in empowering our customers with innovative solutions tailored to their unique needs. You will provide both on-site and remote support for standard and custom power conversion products, assemblies, and systems to ensure optimum performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote support for power conversion products and systems.
  • Conduct installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, and predictive/preventative maintenance of automated systems.
  • Work with motors, generators, drives, plant automation, power quality systems, various PLCs (Rockwell, Emerson, GE, Schneider, Beckhoff) and HMI software (Factory Talk, Proficy View, Wonderware, Vijeo Designer, etc.).
  • Provide hands-on, on-site training for customers to ensure effective product use.
  • Collaborate with in-house engineers on project design, testing of drive systems, and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years experience in an industrial automation environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of analog and digital circuits, configuration of AC/DC drives, AC/DC Motor Theory, PLCs, and HMIs.
  • Proficient in using electronic test equipment such as Data Recorders, DMMs, Clamp-on ammeters, Megaohmmeters, and Oscilloscopes.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, resolve technical and manufacturing issues, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and ability to pass a federal background check.
