Staff Frontend Engineer (Mobile focus)

We’re partnering with the team behind one of the most widely used fantasy sports and gaming platforms who serve millions of passionate users & is backed by top-tier investors. Their product is mobile-first, socially driven, & scaling fast across new game formats and user communities.

As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you’ll take full ownership of feature development across mobile platforms, using a modern stack that includes TypeScript, React Query, React Navigation, and Reanimated.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and ship features across mobile platforms using React Native and TypeScript
• Collaborate directly with designers and fellow engineers to shape features based on user behavior and product goals
• Create and maintain a well-structured, reusable component system to ensure design consistency and efficiency across the app
• Own app logic, UI interactions, and state management using hooks and modern React patterns
• Integrate with backend services via REST and GraphQL
• Troubleshoot performance, caching, and socket issues
• Contribute to overall codebase quality, tooling, and long-term maintainability

What They’re Looking For

• 8+ years of frontend or mobile development experience
• 3+ years working with React Native in production
• Experienced in TypeScript, hooks, component architecture, and debugging performance issues
• Previously worked on a consumer product with millions of users
• Enjoy fast-paced teams, autonomy, and shaping product decisions alongside design
• Bonus: Started as a native iOS or Android engineer before moving into RN
