Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize cash collection of accounts receivables, minimize bad debt losses, and develop effective customer relationships.
  • Monitor and manage a portfolio of suppliers and distributors in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Consistently review past due accounts and take appropriate actions to bring them current.
  • Submit weekly cash applications and bi-monthly billing adjustments to keep the A/R aging clean and accurate.
  • Identify, analyze, and report invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for financial topics related to the A/R aging.
  • Keep management informed of changes within the assigned group of accounts and provide recommendations to minimize risk and improve DSO.
  • Change customer behavior to improve payment patterns by establishing positive cross-functional relationships and implementing strategy.
  • Review customer payment habits and contract terms to identify opportunities to improve working capital.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is required, with a concentration in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • 3+ years of related business experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and excellent follow-up practices.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.). Experience with Access is helpful.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and partner across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to set goals, objectives, and timelines to efficiently meet deadlines.
