Your Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all audits related to auto finance at Capital One.
• Develop and implement a hybrid approach to auditing in order to effectively assess risks and controls in the auto finance department.
• Conduct thorough and comprehensive audits in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to improve risk management and control processes within the auto finance department.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and track audit findings to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Communicate audit results and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in auto finance to ensure audit processes remain current and relevant.
• Mentor and train junior auditors to develop their skills and knowledge in auto finance auditing.
• Foster a culture of integrity and compliance within the audit team and across the organization.
• Lead by example and demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire team members.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all audit work.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on auto finance auditing and provide guidance to other members of the audit team when needed.
