Who You Are
Museum of Ice Cream is looking for a Social Media Manager and Content Creator who has proven capability and passion for creating and managing high-performing social media content, as well as engaging with community members, and driving loyalty for our creative brand. You will also have proven results in generating short-form video content and implementing organic social media strategy on a daily basis, as well as being able to lead other content creators (specialists in other locations, paid contributors, and more). You also like to lead and support other teams in the production and management of content, including paid advertisements and in-store installations.
Your Day-to-Day
- Generating 6+ pieces of content per week using a mix of IRL in-phone and virtual production techniques
- Partnering with Content Creators to ensure content is produced in a timely manner, to support business goals, while maintaining brand standards
- Ushering content through a multi-layered approvals process
- Scheduling content in our CMS for posting across multiple platforms
- Implementing our rigid test-and-learn process, to ensure constant optimation
- Generating ideas for brand campaigns (paid and organic) across platforms, managing production calendar, and delivery
- Weekly and monthly reporting
Travel Requirements: 10-25% The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 USD based on experience.
Requirements
The Necessities and Nice-to-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing social platforms and/or community management, or related roles, preferably in the lifestyle or consumer goods industry
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing strategies
- Proven track record of personally producing social media content, and a willingness to appear on camera from time to time
- Expertise with Adobe Suite or similar technology
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
