Position Overview
FusionTek is a Managed Service Provider with offices in Kirkland, WA; Federal Way, WA; Washington, DC; and Tampa, FL. Since 2007, we have been focused on IT infrastructure management for small- to mid-sized businesses. We are looking for a Remote Help Desk Technician—an energetic, results-oriented professional dedicated to client satisfaction. In this role, you will troubleshoot technical issues on Windows 10/11 and MacOS, work with Office 365, manage Active Directory user accounts, and clearly translate technical concepts to non-technical users. Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote desktop and laptop support by troubleshooting break/fix issues, performing application installations, and configuring user settings. Investigate and remediate malware alerts and assist users with enrolling in multi-factor authentication.
- Document, track, and escalate tickets through our ticketing system while keeping our documentation platform up-to-date.
- Collaborate with a talented team to deliver exceptional service to our clients—all from the comfort of your remote workspace.
- Adhere to the working hours from 8:30 AM to 5 PM EST.
- This position is mainly remote, with occasional in-office attendance required to collect shipments or equipment as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional IT support experience
- Applicants must reside in the Tampa, FL vicinity
- Working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, and MacOS
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 office suite
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote support
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred experience in an MSP/MSSP environment
- Knowledge of Office 365 cloud services is a plus
- Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS is a plus
- A+ and/or Network+ certifications are preferred
- Experience with ticketing systems; familiarity with Autotask is a significant advantage
