Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels in the distribution center.
- Assist with the scheduling and coordination of shipments and deliveries.
- Collect and organize shipping and receiving documents.
- Enter and maintain data into various computer systems.
- Communicate with vendors and carriers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Maintain and update shipping and receiving logs and records.
- Prepare and process shipping labels and documents.
- Assist with the processing of invoices and purchase orders.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any shipping or delivery discrepancies.
- Keep track of and report any damaged or missing products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide administrative support to the logistics team as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Continuously seek out ways to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
- Stay informed of any changes in shipping regulations or procedures.
- Assist with training new employees on logistics procedures and processes.
