Position Overview

As the Project Manager for the Agilysys Hospitality Group, you will ensure the successful execution and delivery of client projects by planning, implementing, and leading multiple assignments simultaneously. You will develop project goals, work plans, timelines, and coordinate resources and communication strategies while consulting with customers on Agilysys solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead customer-facing projects that drive revenue and provide high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage project plans and documentation based on Agilysys Project Management Group standards.
  • Identify, manage, report, and escalate project risks.
  • Manage project schedule, budget, resource, and quality constraints.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects by balancing schedule and resource conflicts.
  • Collaborate with Installation Services Managers to secure resources based on project target dates.
  • Coordinate with Sales to clarify ambiguous projects and address process issues.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including installation groups, to complete tasks and resolve technical challenges.
  • Interface directly with customers to set project expectations, determine target dates, manage tasks, and provide regular updates.
  • Mentor customers on implementing Agilysys solutions and suggest alternative options when applicable.
  • Provide thought leadership regarding team and organizational challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to propose installation improvements and provide product feedback.
  • Obtain appropriate training certifications for self-development.
  • Ensure effective project transition to Support.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or specific to the project.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience developing, installing, or supporting hospitality solutions (e.g., point of sale, property management, inventory management systems).
  • Proven customer-facing presentation skills at the "C" level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Hospitality Administration & Management, Hotel and Motel Management; or 3-5 years’ experience in Program/Project Management and managing technical implementation projects.
  • Expertise in using MS Project, NetSuite Open Air, Confluence, and MS Office products.
