Position Overview

As the Director of Digital Marketing you will oversee and lead our digital growth initiatives across Outova’s family of brands. This role will manage digital strategy, customer acquisition, paid media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and content development. The Director will play a key role in building brand equity, optimizing customer experiences, and scaling revenue through digital channels. This position demands a balance of creativity, analytics, and leadership—with a strong background in multi-brand or multi-channel environments, preferably in home improvement, retail, or outdoor living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead comprehensive digital marketing strategies for Outova and its portfolio brands.
  • Align digital initiatives with company goals around growth, lead generation, and brand awareness.
  • Partner with sales, product, and brand teams to ensure cohesive go-to-market messaging and campaigns.
  • Oversee the evolution of Outova’s digital footprint across web properties, email platforms, and social media.
  • Manage performance channels including SEO/SEM, Google Ads, Meta, programmatic, display, retargeting, and affiliate marketing.
  • Lead email and SMS marketing strategies across various customer segments.
  • Develop and implement paid social strategies that support both direct response and upper-funnel engagement.
  • Track and analyze KPIs, funnel performance, and customer behavior to drive growth.
  • Optimize campaigns using A/B testing, user data, and attribution tools.
  • Implement and manage marketing automation tools and CRM integrations.
  • Build and lead an internal digital marketing team while managing external vendors and agencies.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and oversee weekly performance reviews, quarterly planning, and budgeting efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA a plus).
  • 7–10+ years of digital marketing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success managing DTC and B2B digital marketing campaigns, preferably in home/lifestyle industries.
  • Deep experience with platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4), HubSpot, Meta Business Suite, Shopify, and Klaviyo.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform and optimize strategies.
  • Exceptional project management, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-brand environments or companies undergoing digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with outdoor living, home improvement, or high-SKU product categories.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, eCommerce integrations, and digital merchandising best practices.
