Position Overview

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 annually DOE

Golf Genius is seeking an organized and creative Content Marketing professional to join our growing global marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll be the engine that produces new content – such as industry and customer stories, videos, and blogs – across all marketing channels. This role is ideal for a strong writer and detail-oriented content creator who understands the full content lifecycle and thrives on optimizing and repurposing existing assets. You’ll collaborate across teams to create engaging multi-channel content that informs, inspires, and educates both B2B and B2C audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Writing & Content Development:
    • Write compelling blog posts, thought leadership pieces, and short-form articles based on industry practices, internal interviews, customer conversations, and product launches.
    • Draft case studies and short stories highlighting best practices in golf league/event management, golf shop operations, and coaching/instruction.
    • Support SEO & AEO initiatives by integrating keyword strategies into written content.
  • Content Repurposing & Optimization:
    • Edit long-form video content (e.g., webinars, customer interviews) into short clips optimized for social media, website, email, YouTube, etc.
    • Convert transcripts and video/audio content into blog articles, highlight reels, quote graphics, and email snippets.
    • Create a systematic workflow for content slicing and asset tagging to support always-on campaigns and evergreen reuse.
  • Content Calendar Management:
    • Maintain and update a strategic content calendar and track publication schedules across channels.
    • Coordinate with product marketing, communications, creative, and social teams for timely and consistent content distribution.
  • Collaboration & Support:
    • Produce interviews with customers, partners, and industry influencers to generate multichannel content.
    • Partner with sales and customer success to identify story opportunities from high-performing customers or product use cases.
    • Work with the global marketing team to extract high-impact soundbites and clips from webinars, demos, and testimonials.
    • Collaborate with social media and email marketers to tailor content formats for each channel.
    • Adapt content for varying cultures, countries, and languages in collaboration with local teams.
  • Measurement & Improvement:
    • Track performance metrics (engagement, traffic, conversions) and identify opportunities for improvement or reuse.
    • Monitor trends in golf, software marketing, and content distribution to keep content fresh and competitive.
  • Other projects as assigned by Management.

Required Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, journalism, communications, video production, or a related field.
  • A degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences (B2B and B2C).
  • Video production experience and a working understanding of video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Firefly, Express).
  • Experience repurposing long-form content into multiple formats (social, email, blog, video clips, etc.).
  • Comfortable using content management systems (HubSpot), project management tools (Wrike), Digital Asset Management platforms (Bynder or Canto) and Google Workspace.
  • Understanding of SEO and AEO principles and their application to blog and website content.
  • Knowledge of the golf industry or experience working in golf, sports, or SaaS-related businesses.
  • A self-starter who is entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
