Position Overview
This is a pipeline job requisition—while there is no immediate opening, Omnicell is collecting resumes for future opportunities for aPharmacist-In-Chargeon the Specialty Pharmacy team. At Omnicell, you will empower your career and help transform pharmacy to dramatically improve patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and the medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication.
- Demonstrate business acumen and leadership by managing pharmacy operations and driving continual improvement.
- Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and developments in specialty areas, such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, and HIV.
- Participate as a committee member in clinical oversight and industry innovation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing
- A growth mindset with adherence to continuing education requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in pharmacy practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Two to three years of experience in pharmacy management
- At least one year of experience with patient management programs
