Job Description

Position Overview

Jacobs is seeking a Resident Engineer to lead construction management teams in delivering complex conveyance construction projects as part of a large wastewater infrastructure capital improvement program. This role requires managing technical engineering work across various disciplines, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and upholding safe construction practices and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead construction management teams to deliver complex conveyance construction projects.
  • Oversee technical decisions regarding cost control, scheduling, change management, and risk management.
  • Serve as the key project interface with the Owner, Project Manager, designer, contractor, and other stakeholders.
  • Emphasize safe construction practices (Beyond Zero) and maintain high quality on site.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 10 years of recent experience in construction management on large, complex infrastructure and conveyance projects.
  • Thorough understanding of QA/QC construction inspection methods, contemporary construction techniques, materials, safety protocols, and applicable regulations.
  • Specific QA experience in large public infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 Scheduling software and PMIS tools such as PMWeb.
  • Valid Driver License with a good driving record.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $128,200.00 to $210,000.00, determined by work location, relevant skills, experience, and education.
