Key Responsibilities
- Accompany providers during patient visits to assist in documenting the provider assessment and exam.
- Gain substantial knowledge on how to document patient history, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic results, procedures, treatment plans, consultant opinions, diagnoses, and medication/prescription information.
- Navigate the facility computer system and electronic medical record.
- Monitor pending labs and radiology orders to help guide patient care.
- Review patient history and test results critical to driving medical decisions.
- Adhere to the medical facility’s compliance requirements and ScribeAmerica’s company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- No previous experience needed.
- Commit to ScribeAmerica for up to 6+ months.
- Be flexible enough to work at least 2 shifts per week.
- Ability to type over 40 WPM.
