Position Overview

In this role, you will help guide marketing and business efforts for the electrical construction and industrial low voltage segment while driving global strategies and new product commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide marketing and business efforts for the electrical construction and industrial low voltage segment.
- Establish a cohesive process for collecting, synthesizing, and sharing market insights to support strategic decisions and the new product commercialization process.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to create and activate global segment plans that drive relevance and unit share, including the development of marketing and training campaigns.
- Develop and lead programs that enhance global relevance, leadership, and growth in low-voltage portfolios across electrical and industrial channels as well as eCommerce.
- Identify customer pain points and translate them into innovative products and marketing ideas.
- Implement the low voltage playbook in under-penetrated areas while leveraging established value propositions for sustainable growth.
- Determine customer requirements for product content across websites, training programs, trade shows/events, social media, and digital selection tools.
- Support and guide global channel teams, including sales, eCommerce, and digital initiatives, by identifying cross-sell opportunities and developing targeted action plans.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
- Experience Required: Ten (10) years of combined experience in New Product Commercialization, Marketing, Sales, and/or Business in private, public, government, or military environments.
- Five (5) years of experience in global marketing or business management in electrical or industrial markets, specifically in channel, MRO, or low voltage product areas.
- Five (5) years of experience in identifying customer pain points and translating them into new marketing ideas.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Strategy preferred.
- Experience in consumer, omnichannel, digital and/or eCommerce strategies.
- Language proficiency suited for a global role is beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: $188,251 - $230,084 per year (includes base pay plus variable incentive pay).
- Location: 3M Center, Austin, TX (on-site with a requirement to work at least four days per week).
