Position Overview

This entry-level position as a Warehouse Operator in the Active Duty Army is designed for candidates with no prior experience. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, count, and document cargo using both manual and automated data processing systems
• Load and unload supplies and equipment from various transportation modes (ships, docks, railheads, warehouses, etc.)
• Operate and maintain winches, cranes, forklifts, and other equipment of various sizes
• Create load plans for air shipment and ocean liner vessels
• Attend Basic and Advanced Training (paid)

Required Qualifications

• Age: 17 to 40 years old
• Education: Current Senior in High School, HS Diploma, GED, or higher
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass background and medical screening, including drug screening
• Passing score on the ASVAB is required
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English
