Financial Analyst, Amazon AdTech Sales

Position Overview

Amazon Advertising seeks a Financial Analyst to serve as a strategic business partner for the Advertising Technology Sales team. In this fast-paced role, you will develop deep insights into AdTech and Sales, build financial models, and drive incremental long‐term free cash flow by collaborating with cross‐functional teams such as Sales, Product, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, iterate, and automate financial reports, metrics, and scorecards to support Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Business reviews.
• Analyze key performance indicators to generate actionable insights and drive incremental long‐term free cash flow.
• Develop quantitative models to forecast risks and opportunities and measure sales contribution.
• Ensure accuracy of all business and financial reporting by coordinating with Product, Accounting, and partner Finance teams.
• Manage and execute projects from start to finish, including data gathering, analysis, and clear communication of insights.
• Streamline finance and business team operations through process simplification and automation.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of finance experience.
• Experience with Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups).
• Proven problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Excellent analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL.
• Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel.
• Experience summarizing and communicating important data.
• Proficient with databases handling large-scale data sets.
