Financial Analyst - Entry Level

Position Overview

We are on the hunt for a committed entry-level Financial Analyst to be a part of a bank based in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with processing customer credit applications, ensuring the accuracy of customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for overseeing customer accounts and taking necessary actions when needed. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor customer accounts, identifying any irregularities and taking appropriate action.
• Utilize accounting software systems to manage financial data and generate reports.
• Employ data mining techniques to extract and analyze financial data.
• Conduct auditing tasks to ensure compliance with banking standards.
• Participate in budget processes, contributing to financial planning and forecasting.
• Utilize ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Crystal Reports for financial management and customer relationship tasks.
• Apply accrual accounting principles and capital management strategies in financial analyses.

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in the use of Accounting Software Systems
• Strong Excel and Data Mining skills
