Position Overview
At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. As a Reconstruction Sales Representative located in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve as a technical consultant specializing in total joint reconstruction within our Orthopaedic Reconstruction product portfolio. In this role, you will make sales calls, provide clinical case coverage in the operating room, and train surgeons on our cutting-edge products – including the CORI robotic surgical & navigation system – through education and programs. You'll work collaboratively with key podiatric and orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, Sterile Processing Departments, administration, clinicians, and researchers to drive revenue growth and enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert physicians/accounts through proactive sales calls and on-site clinical case coverage in the operating room.
- Train surgeons on Smith+Nephew products via educational programs.
- Collaborate with key podiatric and orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, SPD, administration, clinicians, and researchers.
- Increase awareness and adoption of our products, including the CORI robotic surgical & navigation system.
- Develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet or exceed quota.
- Provide first-class technical support ensuring product availability meets customer and patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience in the medical device industry.
- Proven track record of converting business at the surgeon or hospital level.
- Strong technical expertise in Orthopaedic Joint Reconstruction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products.
- Experience in leading or mentoring team members and new sales representatives.
