Position Overview
Doctible, recently ranked #293 in Inc. 5000's fastest growing private companies, seeks a dynamic leader and developer of people for the role of Vice President of Inside Sales. You will be accountable for sales results, executing detailed sales plans to drive growth and revenue. In this high-energy role, you will oversee hiring, training, and developing a world-class sales organization across three departments—Inside Sales, Strategic Sales, and Account Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Exceed Doctible's sales goals
- Oversee sales team hiring, training, and development programs
- Develop and mentor the current and future sales manager team
- Propagate the core values of the company and drive a positive culture
- Conduct weekly 1 on 1 personal coaching sessions with each manager
- Administer accountability programs throughout the sales organization
- Drive performance through daily coaching and motivating of sales reps and managers
- Run sales meetings and workshops
- Maximize client value through upsell and add on sales programs
- Develop new sales initiatives via research and development programs
- Continually refine and improve all sales systems and programs
- Develop sales leaders and key staff
- Assume all other responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of direct experience in INSIDE SALES managing teams of sales managers/directors and sales reps
- Successful track record of building and managing inside sales teams in a B2B SaaS environment (startup experience preferred)
- Demonstrated capability in developing sales managers (with detailed references from at least 5 previous sales managers)
- Extensive experience in hiring and training inside sales reps (with detailed references from at least 10 previous reps)
- Exceptional communication skills
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and work at the ground level in a startup mentality
- Expertise in sales training
- Based out of San Diego, CA
Compensation
Will align with experience and performance. Components will include salary and bonus.
