Job Description

Position Overview

The Advertising Account Manager (Remote) is part of the Hopper Media Solutions team – an innovative group managing an ad platform that publishes travel advertisements on the Hopper app and affiliated sites. In this customer-facing and analytical role, you will own the marketing campaign performance and operations for a portfolio of Hopper advertising clients, which include travel suppliers and media agencies. You will be responsible for launching campaigns, optimizing performance, and reporting detailed results, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing campaign activations, trafficking, and operations for Hopper’s paid advertising clients.
  • Source assets and content from clients (or their agencies) to facilitate a high-impact campaign launch.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Product Management, Software Development, and Finance teams to resolve performance or technical issues.
  • Offer strategic campaign recommendations based on an in-depth understanding of client business goals and marketing objectives.
  • Work with Business Development to construct and deliver comprehensive campaign performance recaps.
  • Provide product insights and recommendations to Hopper management based on client feedback and analysis.
  • Support the Finance team’s monthly campaign billing process to ensure invoice accuracy and timely delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree.
  • 2+ years of post-college experience in a digital marketing analytics role, including handling, manipulating, and analyzing data and creating visualizations.
  • Expertise with a data visualization tool (Google Looker Studio preferred) and a product analytics tool (Amplitude preferred).
  • Intermediate SQL skills.
  • Familiarity with agile product development lifecycle management.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly process-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of owning work outcomes as an ambitious self-starter.
  • Excellent follow-through with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in media publishing or in the travel/hospitality industry is a plus.
