Position Overview

Job Title: Software Developer
Duration: 2-3 months contract – possibility to extend
Location: Remote – Minnetonka, MN/Wisconsin

This role will support the Cloud Ops and DevOps team with various duties including deployment, pipelines, and API integrations.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in system analysis, automation/scripting, and code development, and demonstrates a “do-er” mentality while adapting quickly in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cloud Ops and DevOps teams on deployment, pipeline improvements, and API integrations.
• Support the maintenance and evolution of the deployment pipeline to enhance team maturity.
• Engage in system analysis, scripting, and code development tasks as needed.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, working both independently and collaboratively.
• Investigate and remediate API issues using test cases and effective troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in Java/Spring
• Solid foundation in web development and shell scripting
• Experience with CI/CD processes and GitHub

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ADO and Apeo for project tracking
• Basic front-end skills and a developer-centric approach
• Exposure to database technologies (Oracle is a plus, with Postgres emerging)
• Flexible, adaptable, and a go-getter who seeks help when needed
