Position Overview

GP Mobile, one of the largest T-Mobile Premium Retailers in the US, is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team. As a Mobile Expert (ME), you serve as a brand ambassador bringing the T-Mobile brand to life, building and deepening relationships with customers. This role is a learning position where new associates complete training and build skills in preparation for advancement to Retail Associate Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers while delivering a world-class customer experience and building loyalty.
  • Help customers continue their shopping journey—whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
  • Explore individual needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest in-store technology.
  • Engage in side-by-side selling to deliver personalized solutions that go beyond basic device and service plans, including unique accessories and cutting-edge IoT devices.
  • Approach service and sales interactions with composure, integrity, and compassion.
  • Utilize digital tools during interactions and onboarding to actively demonstrate how our ever-expanding coverage benefits customers and why T-Mobile plans let them live unlimited.
  • Complete training on the T-Mobile in-store experience, acquiring new skills, processes, and system knowledge.
  • Maximize shift time by continuously seeking customer insights and learning about wireless innovations.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to collectively own and enhance the customer experience, including identifying small business leads.
  • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passionate customer advocate with a fun and engaging personality.
  • Competitive drive with a proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, while learning and sharing ideas.
  • Effective at balancing customer needs with performance goals.
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, with a retail environment preferred.
