Position Overview

The Strategic Advisory and Financial Analyst – Financial Information Center (FIC) role is an integral part of our Financial Analysis team. In this role, you will provide financial and analytical support by monitoring requests sent to FIC, handling ad hoc requests from partners and management, and working on special projects related to client statistics and firm financial metrics. The position is based in our Global Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles and may offer a flexible hybrid working schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize analytical skills, expert knowledge of business economics, finance, and accounting, as well as financial systems and business intelligence tools to obtain data, organize information, and build reports for effective analysis.
  • Interpret requests for analysis and reporting to produce accurate final work products.
  • Communicate work products effectively via e-mail, phone, video conference, and in-person presentations, and address any questions regarding data and analytical methods.
  • Recommend workflow and process improvements and leverage new technologies to automate tasks and reporting.
  • Maintain detailed records documenting procedures, methodologies, and data sources, while protecting highly sensitive and proprietary information.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of related analytical experience in finance or accounting.
  • Experience at a professional services organization, preferably.
  • Experience working on ad hoc requests and projects in a fast-paced environment, preferably.
