Job Description

Position Overview

The In-House Counsel will serve as an innovative business partner, providing strategic support and guidance to the company’s music agents, the Worldwide Head of Music Business Affairs, and senior legal colleagues. In this role you will review and negotiate agreements for artist touring operations globally – including long-term touring agreements, festival performances, and private/corporate engagements – while implementing and refining new systems to optimize efficiency, compliance, and corporate initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic legal advisor to music agents and senior colleagues.
  • Review and negotiate various artist touring agreements.
  • Implement and refine systems for efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the music business team to support corporate initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 3+ years of experience in a legal role related to entertainment or business affairs.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • In-depth understanding of entertainment law and business affairs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
