Marketing Communications Specialist

Position Overview

Supermicro is seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist who is enthusiastic, hard-working, and has a positive attitude. In this role you will collaborate with marketing professionals and product managers to produce effective external and internal corporate communications such as press releases, blogs, newsletters, and articles. You will help nurture a strong industry network and enhance Supermicro’s corporate image. This position reports to the Director, Corporate Communications and is based at the HQ in San Jose.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement marketing and communications campaigns and strategies while monitoring their success.
• Define key performance indicators for each communications channel to gauge campaign effectiveness.
• Contribute to creating marketing and communications collateral, ensuring consistency with the organization’s brand.
• Collaborate with internal product marketing and management teams to co-develop product and market positioning.
• Review articles, white papers, and similar content as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
• Proven success in designing and executing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns.
• Up-to-date on hardware industry trends with the ability to stay ahead of the curve.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with a strong ability to meet deadlines.
• Capable of analytical and strategic thinking.
• Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
• Strong multitasking skills managing multiple projects with varying deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits & Perks

• Compensation: $72,500 - $95,000. The salary will depend on factors including location, level, education, training, specific skills, and years of experience, with opportunities for bonus and equity awards.
