Key Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a radiologist, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
- Review patient identification, orders, and history for accuracy; transport patients safely, assist with positioning, and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Administer contrast materials as required, initiate emergency response if needed, and verify technical quality of images using RIS, PACS, and ancillary systems.
- Assist in coordinating daily workflow, maintain equipment, perform and document quality control testing, and arrange for repairs as needed.
- Rotate throughout the department based on staffing and patient volume, participate in staff orientation, training, and in-servicing.
- Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe environment including stock management and inventory.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with completion of an ARRT-accredited program (Required)
- Other Radiography program or US military Radiography training (Required)
- Successful completion of radiologic training (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
- Radiology Tech License – ARRT credential must be provided prior to start date (Required)
- AZ Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license must be provided prior to start date (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree (Preferred)
