Position Overview

Join Bacardi as a passionate Procurement Leader responsible for developing and executing category strategies for Raw Material portfolios (including Molasses, LCD, Alcohol, Flavors, and Ingredients) across North America and select Latin American markets. In this role you will create a vision for procurement, lead strategic sourcing events, negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings, supply security, and sustainability. We are seeking a strategic thinker with a proven track record in Procurement who brings leadership, cross‐functional collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging, self‐awareness, people agility, results agility, mental agility, and change agility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Procurement Leader for Raw Material categories in North America and select Latin American markets, accountable for savings, cash, supply security, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional partners in Finance, Manufacturing, Innovation, and Sustainability to deliver savings goals and working capital improvements.
  • Lead strategic supplier engagements, including segmentation, relationship management strategy development, performance management, and contracting.
  • Utilize strategic sourcing methodologies to develop category strategies, negotiation plans, sustainability roadmaps, and business continuity plans.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain Leadership to manage commodity risk exposure and serve as the primary escalation point for major quality or supply chain issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Food Science.
  • Proven experience in category strategy, sourcing strategy, and/or development of sourcing methodologies.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Procurement with at least 3+ years focused on raw materials, agricultural commodities, or specialty ingredients.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiations, including development of negotiation plans, commodity and supply risk management, and execution of Master Services Agreements.
  • Proven track record in delivering cost savings, cash improvements, sustainability, or supply chain enhancements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with experience using market intelligence to analyze trends and secure supply continuity.
  • Experience with eSourcing tools, SAP, and excellent PC skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business.
  • Bi-Lingual in Spanish or Portuguese.
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and Food & Beverage experience.
