Position Overview
This position is for the IT Tech Specialist, a Non-Exempt Onsite role within the Commercial Navigation Software team at Honeywell. In this role, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting services to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems specific to Comm Nav Software. You will balance your time between supporting Commercial Navigation IT infrastructure and addressing site-specific IT needs, directly impacting the productivity and effectiveness of our organization. Compensation: The annual base salary range for this position is $73,700 - $92,200. Actual offers will depend on various factors including your experience, skills, and market considerations.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware (legacy and next-gen) and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software.
- Submit IT tickets and act as the point of contact for coordinating with the global IT/CMADS team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure data security and system integrity.
- Document and maintain IT procedures and processes.
- Support on-premise and regional technology operations including virtualized workloads and networks.
- Facilitate the implementation of new technology stacks and migration of workloads.
- Manage escalations and supplier relationships for site and business operations.
- Partner in business case development, IT transformation, and service optimization initiatives.
- Ensure full adoption of Honeywell standards, tools, processes, and policies.
- Participate in site leadership meetings as an on-site focal point.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in IT technical support or a related role.
- Strong technical skills and solid knowledge of IT hardware and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of Service Management platforms and/or methodology.
- Experience with Windows Server 2019/2016/2012 or RHEL LINUX -8.X and virtualization technologies (e.g., VXRail, vSAN, VCF/NSX).
- Proven ability to maintain a well-organized lab environment (5S).
- Strong initiative and ownership in resolving critical IT issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in operational support of an enterprise infrastructure ecosystem.
- Experience with DevOps toolchains and CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Docker, or Jenkins.
- Proactive approach in seeking out improvement initiatives.
- Scripting experience in Python, Bash, etc.
- Experience with multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
- Certifications in relevant IT technologies.
- Experience in providing customer support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- CCNA certification (CCNP desired, but not required).
