Position Overview

This Dedicated CDL‑A Driver role offers steady miles, no‑touch freight, and regular home time. Drivers run out of the Kroger Distribution Center in Aurora, CO, delivering to King Soopers stores across Colorado and Cheyenne, WY. Routes are predictable, with drivers returning to the same stores regularly.

This position is ideal for drivers seeking local CDL jobs, dedicated fleet positions, or Denver trucking jobs with strong weekly pay and reliable schedules.

Job Details

• All freight is no‑touch
• Mix of live unload and drop & hook
• Average 1,700 miles per week
• 1–3 loads per day, approx. 13 stops weekly
• 6 days on / 2 days off rotation
• Night, evening, and early‑morning driving required
• Home Daily (occasional overnight runs during surge periods)
• No mountain driving required
• 24/7 operation with rotating schedules

Delivery Area

• Loads start at the Kroger DC in Aurora, CO
• Deliver to King Soopers stores throughout Colorado
• Occasional deliveries to Cheyenne, WY
• Predictable, repeat store routes

Equipment

• New 2025 automatic trucks
• Slip‑seat operation
• Trucks must remain parked at the Kroger facility

Compensation

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,625
• Top 10%: $1,650 weekly
• Pay per mile + Safe & On‑Time Mileage Bonus
• Weekly pay with consistent miles

Requirements

• Valid CDL‑A
• 3+ months of tractor‑trailer experience
• Ability to work nights/evenings/early mornings
• Must be able to run a 6‑on / 2‑off schedule
