Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Set up revenue recognition and invoicing schedules for enterprise and revenue share programs in accordance with contract terms and ASC 606
- Send invoices to customers, accurately apply cash receipts, and resolve billing disputes
- Maintain and review accounts receivable aging and assist with collections of past due accounts
- Record monthly journal entries related to accounts receivable, sales tax, deferred revenue, and revenue as part of month-end close
- Perform reconciliations as part of the month-end close process and assist with other ad hoc reconciliations
- Assist with sales commission calculations and act as a liaison for channels and services team with updates on billing and collections
- Proactively identify and propose ways to improve processes across the revenue accounting organization
- Provide project support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1 year prior accounting experience
- Exceptional collaboration skills to work with teams across the organization and externally with customers
- Experience with Microsoft Excel required
- Knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 preferred
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce preferred
