Position Overview

As our Design Coordinator, Interiors, you will support interior design projects—primarily for those not yet NCIDQ certificate holders—while fulfilling required employment hours to sit for the NCIDQ examination. This role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to demonstrate solid design thinking and a strong foundation in design fundamentals as evidenced by your college portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide design coordination support for interior design projects aimed at fulfilling NCIDQ employment requirements.
  • Demonstrate solid design thinking and strong fundamentals, as showcased in your college portfolio.
  • Communicate design concepts clearly to supervisors and peers through excellent oral and written skills.
  • Take direction effectively while maintaining a positive attitude, being a self-starter and team player.
  • Utilize design software including Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp/Rhino (or similar), Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Relevant internship experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • LEED Green Associate
  • Local candidates preferred
