Position Overview
HVAC Technician V – Baltimore, MD
Job Type/Shift:
Full Time, Evening Shift (On-call work required).The HVAC Technician will estimate materials, supplies, and equipment required to perform work assignments, determine the means and methods for completing tasks, and secure the necessary materials from stock or suppliers. The role also involves installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, and calibrating a wide range of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimate the materials, supplies, and equipment needed for work assignments.
- Determine the appropriate means and methods to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Install, maintain, repair, overhaul, and calibrate HVAC systems and components.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and completion of a four-year HVAC apprenticeship program.
- Maryland Class C driver's license.
- Maryland HVAC Journeyman License required; ten years of equivalent training and experience in commercial or industrial HVAC systems may substitute for the license. Preference given to candidates with hospital experience.
