Intermodal Truck Driver OWNER OPERATORS

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating CMV. This role involves route driving to deliver goods efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail to all documentations including your interchanges.
• Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
• Abide by rules and regulations at the port and ensure effect driving inside the port.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries as per regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable tractor trailer experience
• Must have no more than 2 moving violations in one year or 3 moving violations in 2 years.
• No preventable accidents in the past 5 years.
• No SAP PROGRAM candidates.
• 6 months of Port experience.
• Valid TWIC card
• Truck Plates

Pay

• Local - port/ rail one way 70% line haul + fuel surcharge under 200 miles.
• Regional - port/rail one way 74% line haul + fuel surcharge over 200 miles.

Deductions

• NTL/OCC ACC/NON OWNED TRAILER $98.46 weekly.
• Physical Damage optional 4.6 % of stated value charged weekly.
• Escrow $100 weekly until $2,500 is met.
• Eld $20.00 weekly.
• IFTA $2.00 weekly.
