Junior Product Designer (UX/UI)

Position Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a B2B SaaS organization in Portland, OR to recruit a Junior Product (UX/UI) Designer on an ongoing, fully remote contract (targeting 6+ months). With 6+ months of relevant UX/UI experience and a portfolio featuring corporate UX/UI projects across web, mobile, or app platforms, you will help shape the internal UX/UI function, contribute to a new design system, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with UX/UI designers, development/engineering teams, product managers, and leadership to develop information architecture and user flows.
• Design and update wireframes, and create high-fidelity mocks using Figma.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of the new design system.
• Utilize JIRA for project and ticket management.
• Collaborate across all stages of the UX/UI process, from research and testing to final execution.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ months of UX/UI design experience covering the complete design lifecycle from research to go-live.
• A portfolio showcasing tangible corporate UX/UI work across web, mobile, and/or app experiences.
• Proven experience in SaaS product design is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or completion of a dedicated UX/UI certification program.
• Strong proficiency in Figma; familiarity with JIRA, HTML, and CSS is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-player mentality.
• Resourceful in gathering information and problem solving.
