Job Description
Position Overview

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer II, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructures across AWS and Azure to support enterprise workloads. You’ll work with cutting‐edge technologies—from generative AI to cloud-native tools—to drive digital transformation and reimagine customer interactions. Enjoy a flexible hybrid work environment (2 days onsite at Arlington, TX and 3 days remote) where your ideas matter and your development is a priority.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS and Azure infrastructure solutions including VPCs, VNets, subnets, security groups, and hybrid connectivity between on-premises data centers and the cloud.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automate routine tasks with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Apply cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with frameworks such as SOC2 and NIST.
- Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of core services (e.g., EC2, S3, Azure VMs, Storage Accounts) while implementing disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, document architectures and procedures, and provide technical mentorship to peers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work/military experience.
- 3-5 years of progressive IT experience including at least 1 year in software development, test automation, system administration, or infrastructure operations.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or similar) alongside proficiency in Terraform and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Strong expertise in AWS and Azure networking services, analytical troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication for technical documentation and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- AWS and/or Azure certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps/Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect/Administrator).
- Experience designing hybrid cloud architectures and advanced networking solutions.
