Position Overview

Immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler to support our Facility at Ryder in Riverside, CA. Compensation: $17.90 per hour. We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply chain environment with state of the art equipment. Products handled include Clothing and equipment used includes an RF Scanner.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Meet performance measurement guidelines as specified in the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, and staging of products along with loading and unloading trucks.
• Manage day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core production shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one (1) year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a diverse work environment.
• Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a strong attendance record.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision and possesses a high degree of initiative.
• Demonstrates high accuracy under pressure.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Adheres to health and safety methods and is available for a flexible schedule across various shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
