Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer for our on-site infrastructure team in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you'll support data center operations, server management, vendor coordination, and comprehensive IT support to ensure maximum uptime and seamless technical operations across systems and teams.

Job Type: Contract • Location: Las Vegas, NV (on-site, 5 days per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain Data Center (DC) sheets, inventory, and portals.
  • Perform server OS installation, configuration, firmware, BIOS, and driver updates.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware issues, log sharing, and on-site support.
  • Manage server and rack mounting, device movements, gate passes, and parts tracking.
  • Collaborate with Network, VM, Storage, Backup, and Unix teams for issue resolution.
  • Maintain DC store, MUX room, and ensure power & cooling compliance.
  • Handle tape movement, PDU and ATS installations, labeling, and cleanup activities.
  • Conduct BMS issue checks and provide recording backups upon admin requests.
  • Support PO and invoice tracking, logistics coordination, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare and share audit, MIS, and periodic reports for management review.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, server support, and Data Center operations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
  • Analytical thinker with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Understanding of Exchange, SLA management, and Incident/Problem/Change processes.
  • Experience in vendor coordination, project management, and service delivery.
  • Strong skills in Customer and Vendor Relationship Management.
  • Familiarity with MIS reporting and SLA-based support environments.
