Position Overview

In this exciting role, you will join a team of Software Engineers developing advanced software for ground systems of next-generation satellites. This position is Onsite in Aurora, CO, and requires an active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance along with U.S. citizenship.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge satellite ground systems.
- Collaborate with skilled teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering (STEM) to be obtained in 2026.
- 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- Familiarity with developing object-oriented software using Java.
- Security Clearance: Active and transferable U.S. government issued clearance required (TS/SCI without Polygraph); U.S. citizenship is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with object-oriented programming in C++.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Understanding of multi-threaded programming.
- Experience with microservices in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with LINUX/UNIX operating systems.
- Experience with tools like Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit, Kafka, and Spring Boot.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred; include your GPA on your resume.
