Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the systems engineering activities for aviation projects, including requirements definition, architecture design, and system integration.

  • Design and analyze complex avionics, control, and communication systems for aircraft applications.
  • Oversee the integration of various aircraft subsystems, ensuring seamless interoperability and performance.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures for system validation and verification.
  • Conduct system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, flight test engineers, and manufacturing personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation standards and regulations (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, FAA regulations).
  • Prepare technical documentation, including design documents, test reports, and safety assessments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the systems engineering team.
  • Stay current with advancements in aviation technology, systems engineering best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Participate in design reviews, safety reviews, and program management meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree: in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in aviation systems engineering, with a strong focus on avionics and aircraft systems.
  • Proven experience: in requirements management, system architecture design, and integration.
  • In-depth knowledge: of aerospace systems, including flight controls, navigation, communication, and propulsion systems.
  • Familiarity: with systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Cameo) and simulation software.
  • Understanding: of aviation standards and certification processes.
