Junior Data Analyst

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Junior Data Analyst to join their dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan, US. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in data interpretation, reporting, and driving business insights. The successful candidate will work closely with senior analysts and various departments to extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection, cleaning, and organization of data from various sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support the development and implementation of data models and statistical analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
• Contribute to the documentation of data processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with the latest data analysis tools and techniques.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic data initiatives.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the analysis process.
• Assist in ad-hoc data requests and projects as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methods.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
